🧾 Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Dharamsala Treks, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and mindful of the effort and logistics involved in organizing treks and tours in remote Himalayan regions.

❌ Cancellation by the Client

If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:

  • More than 15 days before departure: 90% refund of total amount (10% retained as administrative fee).

  • 7 to 15 days before departure: 50% refund of total amount.

  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

  • No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund.

Note: Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

⚠️ Cancellation by Dharamsala Treks

In rare cases, due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances, if we cancel a trip, you will be offered one of the following:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule or transfer your booking to a future date or another trek.

We will not be responsible for flight, train, or travel costs not booked directly with us.

🔄 Date Change / Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests made more than 10 days before the trek can be accommodated free of charge (subject to availability).

  • Rescheduling requests made within 10 days of the departure may incur an additional fee of ₹1000 per person.

🔒 Refund Mode

All refunds are processed via the original payment method—bank account, UPI, or card used at the time of booking.
