Combine a guided Triund trek, a night at Triund, a second night camping at Billing and a planned tandem paragliding session landing in Bir on this three-day adventure from the Dharamshala area.
Start near McLeod Ganj and follow the forest trail towards Triund. After a night in camp, descend and continue by road to Bir and Billing for your second campsite. The final morning is planned around breakfast and paragliding, subject to suitable conditions and the flight operator’s checks.
Dinner, breakfast, tents, sleeping bags and mats are included at both camps. This itinerary focuses on two camping nights; arrive ready to trek on day one and arrange your onward journey from Bir separately.

THREE-DAY TRIUND, BILLING & BIR ADVENTURE ITINERARY
MCLEOD GANJ → TRIUND
Arrive at the agreed McLeod Ganj-area meeting point ready for the trek. After a briefing, follow the forest and ridge trail towards Triund with your guide. Settle into the permitted campsite and enjoy the surroundings when visibility allows. Dinner and the overnight tent stay are included; arrange breakfast and lunch separately.
TRIUND → MCLEOD GANJ → BIR → BILLING
Have breakfast at camp, pack up and descend with the guide. Continue by road from the McLeod Ganj area towards Bir, then on to Billing for your second camp. Stops around Palampur or Baijnath may be discussed if time allows; they are not fixed parts of this busy transfer day. Have dinner and spend the night in tents at Billing.
BILLING → BIR · ONWARD DEPARTURE
After breakfast, meet the flight operator for the planned tandem paragliding session. The flight can proceed only when weather, operating conditions and participant checks allow. Land in Bir and arrange your onward travel. Confirm the day’s schedule before booking a bus, train connection or other transfer.
Confirm the exact trailhead, permitted campsites, walking times and transfer schedule before departure. Day two combines a mountain descent with road travel, so keep optional sightseeing flexible. Weather and operational changes can affect the camps, route and flight.
YOUR TWO-NIGHT CAMPING ARRANGEMENTS
Confirm tent sharing, campsite toilets, drinking-water arrangements, personal baggage support, trekking permits and flight-operator details in your written booking. Ask separately about personal expenses, insurance and flight photos or video. Any campfire depends on campsite rules and conditions.
PLAN A TRIUND AND BILLING CAMPING TOUR
This three-day plan begins with the Triund ascent. Arrange arrival around the confirmed meeting time, and discuss a separate night near McLeod Ganj if your travel schedule needs it. Share your walking experience and comfort with uphill paths, descents and tent stays.
Bring suitable walking footwear, warm layers, rain protection, a headtorch, sun protection and personal essentials. Tents, sleeping bags and mats are included at both camps. Confirm the packing list, meal timings, water supply and what luggage you need to carry on the trek.
Ask the operator about suitable dates, participant requirements, pilot credentials and the flight briefing. Confirm the terms for weather delays, postponement or cancellation, and how changes would affect your onward travel. Flight duration and a particular departure time are not guaranteed.
Carry litter back, keep water sources clean and respect local customs. Leave enough time for the descent and transfers rather than committing to a fixed sightseeing list on day two.
BEFORE YOUR THREE-DAY CAMPING ADVENTURE
The revised plan is three days and two nights. Trek to Triund and camp on day one, descend and transfer to Billing camp on day two, then plan paragliding and finish in Bir on day three.
Both nights are camping stays: the first at Triund and the second at Billing. A Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj hotel night is not part of this revised plan.

No. Onward bus and train tickets are excluded. The tour finishes in Bir. Confirm the expected flight and finish schedule before booking your connection.
