After a hearty local breakfast at a waterfall-side café, the trail ascends steeply to reach Leta, perched at 2,300m. Here, your tents await, nestled amidst towering pines and offering sweeping views of the Kangra Valley, Dharamsala Cricket Stadium, and even the Pong Dam.

Day 01

Time : 10:00 am

Bhagsu to Leta Camps (2,300m)

  • Start your day in Bhagsu, Dharamshala
  • Trek 3.5 km past Bhagsu Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall
  • Stop for breakfast at a local café near Shiva Café
  • Trek uphill through forest to Leta Camps (approx. 1.5 hrs)
  • Arrive, check-in to cozy tents, and relax
  • Enjoy stunning views of Dharamsala and the Dhauladhars
  • Evening bonfire, music, dinner, and stargazing

Day 02

Morning Hike & Return

  • Early morning tea with sunrise views
  • Optional short forest walk
  • Breakfast at camp
  • Trek back to Bhagsu by noon

Leta Camps are situated about 3.5 km uphill from Bhagsu in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The trail passes by Bhagsu Temple, Bhagsu Waterfall, and Shiva Café.
