If you enjoy spending your time in cozy camps nestled in the Himalayas, then our Leta camps are the perfect destination for you. The trek to our camps begins with a 3.5 km walk from Bhagsu, passing by the Bhagsu temple, the famous Bhagsu waterfall, and the popular eatery, Shiva café. Along the way, you can stop at one of the cafes near the waterfall for a delicious breakfast of bread with eggs or spicy Maggie, accompanied by a hot cup of green tea.
After breakfast, the trek continues by crossing the waterfall and ascending a steep climb for over an hour before reaching level ground at 2300 meters, where Leta camps are situated. From our camps, you can admire majestic views of the Himalayas, lush greenery, and crystal-clear vistas of Dharamsala and the Kangra valley. The scenery includes the Cricket ground, airport, and the picturesque Pong Dam. In winter, the area is blanketed in snow, while in summer, it blooms with colorful flowers.
Leta camps offer a convenient location near Bhagsu for those who enjoy the camp life but prefer not to trek extensively. You can relax and unwind by immersing yourself in nature, reading a book, soaking up the sun, or engaging in lively conversations with friends around the bonfire. At night, you can stargaze under the star-studded sky.

Camping in Dharamsala (Leta Village)
If you love to spend your time in cozy camps in the laps of Himalayas then this is the place for you. It’s a walk for nearly 3.5 Km from Bhagsu to our Leta camps. The trek takes you thru the Bhgasu temple and on the way you cross Bhagsu waterfall and the most famous eatery joint Shiva café. You can enjoy your breakfast at one of the cafes around waterfall. You can eat bread with egss or spicy Maggie with a hot cup of tea (green tea) Then you start your trek by crossing the waterfall and going thru the narrow stairs it’s a steep climb for more than an hour and then you level ground and from here Leta which is situated at 2300 meter. From our camps one has lot to admire from majestic views of Himalayas to greenery around. The view of Dharamsala and Kangra valley is as clear as crystal. You can see Cricket ground, airport and not to miss the pong dam. The place is all covered with snow in winters and blooming with flowers in summers. Leta camps being near to Bhagsu is add on to people who love to experience camp life but don’t like to trek a lot. You can enjoy your stay here by just watching the nature, curled up with a book, just lay around get a sunbath or just spend time having good conversation with friends in the evening around the bonfire or lay down and gaze at the star studded night.
