📍 Route Highlights
🌲 McLeod Ganj to Triund
The trek begins from the spiritual town of McLeod Ganj, ascending through rhododendron and deodar forests. After 9 km, you reach Triund, a ridge that offers panoramic views of the Kangra Valley and Dhauladhar peaks.
🧊 Laka Glacier & Lahesh Cave
Continuing upward, the terrain becomes more alpine. Laka Glacier marks the beginning of serious elevation gain. A short but steep ascent takes you to Lahesh Cave (3,750 m) — a natural rock shelter used for camping.
⛰️ Indrahar Pass – The Gateway
The ascent to Indrahar Pass (4,300 m) is a defining moment of the trek. On a clear day, views of Manimahesh Kailash, Pir Panjal Range, and deep into Chamba Valley are simply unforgettable.
