OUR STORY STARTS CLOSE TO HOME
Manu Adventures India is an adventure travel company based in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Dharamsala Treks brings its guided trekking and local mountain experiences together in one place.
Our journeys range from day hikes around McLeod Ganj and Dharamkot to overnight ridge escapes and longer Dhauladhar treks. We work with local guides and support teams to connect the practical details of a trip with the places and people along the way.
A good journey starts with choosing a route that fits. Tell us your available time, walking experience and interests, and we can discuss the itinerary, meeting point, camping arrangements and inclusions before you book.
Meet us through a conversation →DIFFERENT DAYS. DIFFERENT JOURNEYS.

A shared understanding of the route
helps you prepare and enjoy
your time in the mountains.
Our local guides bring knowledge of mountain routes and the communities around them. Ask questions about the trail, its surroundings and the arrangements for your chosen itinerary.
Talk to us about your experience and the time you have. Day hikes, overnight treks and higher mountain routes involve different walking demands, even when the destinations are close together.
Guiding, meals, camping equipment, transport and permits vary between trips. Confirm the inclusions, exclusions and final plan before booking so you know what to prepare.
Mountain weather and access can affect a route. Discuss the season and current conditions with our team, follow your guide’s advice and allow room for changes when planning.
THE MOUNTAINS ARE SOMEONE’S HOME
Respect for the mountains and local communities is part of our approach. Working with local guides, porters and businesses connects a journey with the people who live here.
We encourage travellers to carry reusable bottles, bring litter back, respect trails and follow local guidance around campsites and sacred places. Ask before photographing people, give wildlife space and keep streams and lakes clean.
Ask how to prepare for your trek →Value the guides, support teams, village businesses and hosts who help make the journey possible.
Use existing paths, carry your waste back and avoid leaving food or packaging at campsites.
Follow guidance around temples, monasteries and village homes, and approach each place with consideration.
