Day 01
McLeod Ganj to Triund – Trek & Camp (9 km / 4–5 hours)

Start your trek from McLeod Ganj (1,750 m) in the morning, guided by our local experts. Hike through scenic forest trails filled with oak, rhododendron, and deodar trees. The path climbs steadily past Dharamkot and Gallu Devi Temple, offering sweeping views of the Kangra Valley.
Reach Triund Top (2,850 m) by late afternoon — a wide alpine meadow with a stunning backdrop of the snow-capped Dhauladhar range. Enjoy sunset views, hot dinner, and a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 02
Triund to Laka Glacier & Back (6 km trek one way / 6–7 hrs round trip)

Wake up early to a majestic sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, begin your trek further up towards Laka Glacier (3,200 m). The trail is steeper and more rugged as you cross Snowline Café and approach the glacier zone.
Depending on the season, Laka may be covered in snow or have ice sheets tucked between boulders. Spend time exploring and photographing this alpine wonder before retracing your steps back to Triund.

Day 03
Triund to McLeod Ganj – Trek Down (9 km / 3–4 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your descent from Triund to McLeod Ganj. The downhill hike offers a final chance to soak in forest views and spot local birds. Reach McLeod Ganj by early afternoon — marking the end of an unforgettable Himalayan trekking experience.

The trek is considered moderate. It’s suitable for beginners with decent fitness. The trail gets slightly steep after Triund, especially on the way to Laka Glacier, but is manageable with guided support.
The best time is from March to June and September to December. You’ll find snow at Laka Glacier in March–May, while the post-monsoon season (Sept–Oct) offers clear skies and crisp mountain views.
